Applying to take individual component methods

GP Registrars have a responsibility to inform their local Deanery Office of their chosen methods to complete summative assessment, especially if they wish to attempt methods not currently offered by their Deanery.

In choosing methods, GP Registrars should bear in mind that once they have chosen, they will not be allowed to change to a different one, unless there are exceptional circumstances and they have the permission of their Director.

GP Registrars are advised to complete the application form as soon as they have chosen the component methods and return the completed and signed form to their local Deanery Office.

The final deadline for applications for Summative Assessment is 31 July 2007. If you intend to undertake Summative Assessment please ensure you submit your application form to your local Deanery Summative Assessment Office by this date.
