FAQs - Transition to nMRCGP
From August 2007 that there will be a single new assessment process
for doctors wishing to obtain a CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in general
practice. This new assessment will also be an essential requirement for entry to
the GMC Generalist Register and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners
(MRCGP).
Details
of the transition from summative assessment and the current MRCGP examination, to
nMRCGP are outlined in the information sheets available on this website.
Further details on the nMRCGP can be found on the RCGP’s website.
