I am due to finish my training at the end of July 2008, and want to start nMRCGP – I have already passed SA MCQ, will it count towards nMRCGP?
A pass in the SA MCQ will count for licensing purposes (CCT) but will not count towards the nMRCGP and membership of the College – this is no different to the current situation, in that an SA MCQ pass does not count towards the MRCGP. So, if you wishe to have the “nMRCGP” qualification and membership of the RCGP, you will also need to pass the AKT.
